“Did You Find Anything Decent?” 괜찮은 것 좀 봤어?
상대방이 과거에 어떤 행동을 했는지 알고 싶을 때 “Did you ...?”라고 물어봅니다. 이 때 you 다음에 오는 동사는 원형을 쓰도록 주의해야 합니다.
Mira: Hi, Betty. How was your shopping at the thrift store? Did you find anything decent?
Betty: No, I just bought some very old stuff. I got three John Grisham books and two old black-and-white movies on DVD.
Mira: Why did you buy the old movies? Do you like them?
Betty: Actually, they’re for my grandma. She says some movies are oldies but goodies.
Mira: Oh, I see. My mom tells me the same thing too.
Betty: Speaking of movies, we can try to watch one of the movies tonight. What do you say?
Mira: I'd love to! What should we watch? Do you have Gone with the Wind?
Betty: You read my mind!
미라: 안녕, 베티. 중고품 판매점에서 쇼핑한 거 어땠어? 괜찮은 것 좀 봤어?

베티: 실은, 할머니 드릴거야. 어떤 영화는 오래 돼도 좋은 영화라고 말씀하시거든.
미라: 어, 알겠어. 우리 엄마도 똑같은 말씀을 하셔.
베티: 영화 얘기가 나와서 말인데, 오늘밤에 그 영화중에 한 편 볼 수 있겠다. 어때?
