Looking at an Inexpensive Apartment

Mary : Oh, my! This apartment looks... so... so...

Lisa : So horrible!

       How old is this building?

Superintenden t: Well, it's about eighty years old, but we just put in new carpet.

Mary: Does the building have heating or air conditioning?

Superintenden t:  It has steam heating, but no air conditioning.

                  And the boiler breaks down a lot,

                  so sometimes the radiators don't work well.

Mary : Does the kitchen have a gas oven or an electric oven?

Superintendent :  It has a gas stove, but it doesn't work well.

Mary : 오, 이런! 이 아파트는 정말... 정말...

Lisa : 정말 최악인걸!

       이 건물 얼마나 오래됐나요?

Superintendent : 음, 한 80년 되었죠, 그래도 우리가 얼마 전에 새 카펫을 깔았어요.

Mary : 이 건물에 난방이나 냉방은 되나요?

Superintendent : 증기 난방장치는 있고 냉방은 안돼요.

                 보일러가 자주 고장이고,

                 가끔 라디에이터도 작동이 안된답니다.

 Mary : 부엌에는 가스 오븐인가요, 전기 오븐인가요?

 Superintendent : 가스 렌지요, 하지만 작동이 잘 안돼요.
